TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Are you interested in pursuing a career as a trainer or assessor? Do you want to enhance your skills and knowledge in training and assessment? Look no further than the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment!
This nationally recognised qualification will equip you with the skills and knowledge to design and deliver effective training programs, assess learners' performance, and evaluate training outcomes. You'll be able to work in a variety of settings, including vocational education and training (VET) institutions, workplaces, and community organizations. Our accelerated teacher program incorporates a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) component tailored specifically to the experiences of registered secondary school teachers who are currently working in an educational environment.
The TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is designed to be flexible and accessible. You can study online or in-person, full-time or part-time and collect RPL evidence from your school VET environment.
The program is delivered by experienced trainers and assessors who will support you throughout your learning journey.

The Accelerated Teacher Program is specifically designed for registered secondary school teachers working in an educational environment who are inspired to share their industry knowledge and skills within a school or the wider VET sector.

1. Fast Track*
5 consecutive days (via live MS Team and other locations)
2. Non-consecutive live interactive MS Teams classes - Book as you go!*
Teachers can work on self-paced parts of the course and book 5 live MS Teams classes around their busy timetable. Classes are available during the school term and during school holidays.
3. Two-Term Split*
Three full day facetoface classes then join the final two days via MS Teams at a later date.
4. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Recognition of Prior Learning is the process that is used to recognise the skills and knowledge you have acquired through personal and work experience - the "University of Life". The evidence you provide is matched to a complete qualification where possible or alternatively, to part of a qualification. A successful RPL application means that you could receive certification without further study or may be able to fast track through a qualification. Please contact us to organise an individual assessment of your current knowledge and skills.

*Some of the self-paced components of the program, eg, the Assessment Cluster (Validation), require assessments to be facilitated in your educational environment by an experienced VET teacher, trainer and assessor.
If you do not have access to an experienced VET teacher, trainer and assessor, our live, trainer-facilitated webinars are available to assist you in completing these assessment projects.
This course is designed for people interested in developing their capacity to be an:

Enrolment in this program requires you to have access to a VET training environment and appropriately qualified mentor to complete assessments.
You have 12 months from course commencement to complete this qualification.
To complete this qualification you must demonstrate competency in a total of 12 units. 6 of these units are core and 6 are electives, of which 3 must be selected from Group A. We have selected electives that represent a broad understanding and best practice for VET trainers in a school environment.

If you successfully complete this qualification you could continue your studies in higher level adult education qualifications within the VET or university sectors. You may also choose to enrol in a specialised Skill Set such as Learning Support, Online Learning and Assessment, Advanced Facilitation or Foundation Skills.
