Work-based Training and Assessment
This pathway involves trainees completing work-related training and assessment activities. All work-based training and assessment combine face-to-face and/or online training with self-paced activities to reinforce learning. Trainer visits and student support whilst in their training periods.

This is an ideal qualification to complete as a work-based Traineeship - Earn while you LEARN! Traineeships are funded through the SAS User Choice program. The QLD government contributes towards the cost of training for eligible trainees. So, instead of paying the full cost of training, trainees or their employers will pay a reduced amount.

Work-based Training and Assessment (Traineeships)
This pathway involves trainees completing work-related training and assessment activities. Work-based training and assessment combine face-to-face and/or online training with self-paced activities to reinforce learning. Trainer visits and student support whilst in their training periods.

This is a flexible and efficient way to complete your qualification. It may include live classes, online study, self-paced activities and webinars.

The entire course is offered electronically through our Learning Management System.
- Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Recognition of Prior Learning is the process that is used to recognise the skills and knowledge you have acquired through personal and work experience - the "University of Life". The evidence you provide is matched to a complete qualification where possible or alternatively, to part of a qualification. A successful RPL application means that you could receive certification without further study or may be able to fast-track through a qualification. Please contact us to organise an individual assessment of your current knowledge and skills.
This course is designed for people interested in acquiring foundational business skills, ranging from technical to teamwork and process to innovation. It is therefore an ideal qualification for individuals who wish to work in a broad spectrum of industries and occupations.
A good command of written English and the ability to allocate appropriate study hours each week.
You have 12 months from course commencement to complete this qualification or up to 24 months if undertaken as a traineeship.
To complete this qualification you must demonstrate competency in a total of 13 units of which 6 are core and 7 are electives. Electives other than those on the list upon negotiation and approval.

If you successfully complete this qualification you could continue your studies in higher level business qualifications within the VET or university sectors.

South Australian Government Subsidised Place
All students are assessed at enrolment to determine eligibility for a government-subsidised place. Students who do not meet the eligibility criteria for government-subsidised training will not be enrolled under this model.
