Supporting Communities, One Cowboy Shirt at a Time

We’re proud to support the incredible work of the Remote Op Shop Project – connecting generous donors with remote communities in need. Most recently, Blueprint Career Development team packed up six satchels full of men’s shirts and sent them off to the community of Nganmarriyanga, a small and remote Aboriginal community located in the Northern Territory, about 390 km southwest of Darwin.

At the heart of this mission is our very own GM Sister Melanie, who may or may not have a not-so-secret passion for op shopping (we think she’s on a first-name basis with most of the store managers in the Logan area of South East QLD 😄). Her specialty?

Sourcing those hard-to-find cotton Cowboy shirts – always a hit in the communities we support. Let’s just say Mel’s wardrobe might politely decline any new additions unless they’re heading out in a satchel!

So, what’s your secret passion? If it's thrifting, treasure hunting, or simply making a difference – here’s how you can get involved.

Here's How You Can Support...

🟡 Choose a community or project to support
Find a remote community that tugs at your heartstrings.
🟡 Take note of what items they are in need of
It might be clothing, shoes, or something specific – the details matter!
🟡 Package up your pre-loved goods
Give those quality items a new life (and some fresh air outside your wardrobe 😉).
🟡 Send them direct to the address provided

And just like that, you’ve made a real difference.
It’s simple, impactful, and a little addictive (just ask Mel). Whether you're a closet clean-out pro or an undercover thrifter, there's a way for everyone to help.
